Parent and guardian survey

Understanding children’s learning needs beyond the classroom

In a classroom or tuition batch, one teacher must support many children at the same time. A child may not get enough space to ask questions, clarify a doubt, or request another explanation. Some children also stay silent because they feel shy or worry that others may judge them. This can leave gaps hidden even when lessons and homework are completed. Tutorgent is developing an AI-supported tutoring product designed to be available whenever a learner needs help, including 24×7 access and support in the learner’s own language. The intended experience is a patient tutor that motivates the learner, adapts explanations and practice to individual needs, and uses questions and hints to guide thinking instead of simply giving away answers. It is also being designed to give parents appropriate control over learning-related screen time. These are high-level design intentions; the product and its final capabilities are still under development. This survey asks about your child’s present learning support, the gaps you observe, safe screen time, and which form of interaction with an AI tutor may be most helpful. Please answer for one child—preferably the child whose learning needs concern you most. Responses will be used only in aggregate for research and product improvement and will not be sold. You may remain anonymous. Name and contact details are requested only if you voluntarily agree to a possible short follow-up interview.
